Celebrating Whanake Ake Cohort 1!

August saw the first cohort of Whanake Ake complete the 1-to-Many programme. We came together to celebrate their achievements, listening to the graduates present their business pitches, before receiving their tohu (certificate). Whānau, friends and potential business contacts attended and shared in what was a very inspirational evening for all.

Cohort one was a diverse roopū with a wide a range of different pakihi. Ranging from freelance sculptor/artist, arborist, screen printer, custom sublimation services, maintenance and mowing services, makeup and beauty services and hairdressing.

We are incredibly proud of the progress and growth each of the graduates demonstrated and we look forward to watching these pakihi come to life.
